Founded in 1878, Ethical Culture Fieldston School is a private school that focuses on developing the “intellectual, artistic, and moral potential” of its students. The school serves approximately 1,700 students in grades Pre-K through 12 spread across 2 locations. Ethical Culture occupies a turn of the century school building on Central Park West in Manhattan. Fieldston Lower, Fieldston Middle, and Fieldston Upper Schools share an 18-acre campus in the Riverdale section of the Bronx.
NY Engineers provided Mechanical engineering design and consultation services for the Riverdale campus in the Bronx. NY Engineers designed new backflow preventers for several buildings in the Upper and Lower schools. The main campus boiler room was also redesigned, and new boilers were designed for Building 400 and the gymnasium.

NY Engineers was involved with the designing of the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the renovated glass washing and sanitizing room. The biological laboratory serves for students and researchers, and as a teaching facility.
The design of new 80,000 CFM built up air handler was completed to replace the existing in the Meyer Building of New York University.
