NEW YORK UNIVERSITY | MEYER BUILDING

Project Information

The design of a new 80,000 CFM built-up air handler was completed to replace the existing one. The existing air handler was a conventional design in that air was returned from the building, mixed with outside air, conditioned, and discharged back into the building. The new air handler was required to supply only outside air to the building as the building was renovated into a laboratory facility. The new air handler design was provided with an air-to-air heat exchanger for energy recovery.
