Project Information
Olivet University, a small Christian school based out of San Francisco, has purchased the 1,000 acre former Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY. They are intending to build an east coast campus for the university with classrooms, residential halls, and dining halls. The hospital closed almost 20 years ago, and locals are excited about the prospects of new jobs and growth of area business.
How We Helped OLIVET UNIVERSITY
NY Engineers performed an existing condition survey of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm, and structural systems of selected buildings on the property. We produced a master plan for the university complete with centralized utility infrastructure including power plants, water plants, and wastewater treatment plants.
