NY Engineers collaborated with Ahuja Partnership for a renovation of the bookstore, cafeteria, and conference rooms within the Roscoe Brown Student Center at CUNY Bronx Community College. Built in the mid-1950s, the center was in poor condition and lacked any noteworthy characteristics in comparison to other campus structures.
The renovation upgraded the overall condition of the Roscoe Brown Student Center and included additions such as a staircase to connect a new two-level cafeteria, a new elevator, and handicapped accessible ramps to make the building accessible to the physically challenged. DASNY and SUNY both oversaw the design and construction.
