NY Engineers provided professional MEP/FP engineering consultation services for the renovation. The project consists of renovating the approximately 1,817 ft2 medical office on the 1st floor. A demising wall partitioned the office into 2 equal spaces, each consisting of 3-4 treatment rooms, one lab room with a sink, and a reception/waiting area. The duct system was reconfigured and plumbing, fire alarm, sprinkler, and electrical systems were designed to support 2 separate offices. Three special inspections were included: one inspection each for the mechanical system, plumbing system, and sprinkler system. Space underwent DOH review.
