Through their ten LIFE programs (Lutheran Initiatives for Enrichment), those in need are provided services such as elder support, hunger prevention, affordable housing, immigration and refugee settlement, international and domestic adoptions, special needs children’s schools, disaster preparation, and foster care. The purpose of the survey was to determine the feasibility and impact of LSSNY, ultimately opening four facilities for daycare/education use, each in a separate location. They also offer important medical care through their mental and physical health care programs for foster care youth.
NY Engineers was hired by the Lutheran Social Services of New York (LSSNY) to perform an existing conditions survey on the MEP systems of four separate properties to determine the feasibility and impact of each location.
