NY Engineers provided engineering consulting services for renovation expanding the current 31,250 ft2 space in Downtown Brooklyn on the 21st floor to include extra workspace on the 22nd floor of the building for research, development, and testing. The fast-growing startup expanded to Downtown Brooklyn from its original site in Boerum Hill after outgrowing a ground-floor warehouse known as the “BotCave” that the company still uses for the assembly of MakerBots.
They also provided consultation for the renovation of new office space in the rapidly growing Industry City neighborhood in Brooklyn. This renovation covered 200,000 ft2 across 4 floors.
Complete upgrade of the mechanical room supporting National Grid’s 50,000 ft2 Main Office Building was completed.
